About the Artist

Michael Faulkner (BFA / MS.ED ART) – Alfred University, Alfred, NY)

Art is a driving force within leading me on a path of exploration with nature for over fifty years. Mother Nature is my studio, my inspiration and my creative sanctuary.  It’s all about questions, being present without fear of what is going to happen next...whether in life or on the canvas. 

I am focused on what my art speaks through evolving in harmony with nature, and not so concerned about how the paint is applied. Technique is part of the journey in search of the statement. My art is not intended to represent the outward appearance of what the eye can see, but the inward significance that deeply touches and gives new life to the creative soul.
